That’s according to former Hoops hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about tonight’s game.
Hibs have recorded three straight losses in the league though they still sit fifth in the table.
Celtic are in considerably better form, winning their last four in all competitions.
The two sides face off at Easter Road tonight with the Hoops looking to close the gap on league leaders Rangers.
McAvennie is not predicting an easy night or a straightforward win for Celtic despite their impressive recent form.
“Hibs aren’t doing too well at the moment,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I know they lost to Aberdeen at the weekend. Jack Ross and Hibs will be like a wounded animal.
“I think Celtic can expect a very tough test tonight. It might do them good.
“Celtic have been doing really well against teams not putting up much of a fight so tonight will be a real test of our metal.
“I do worry with Hibs backed into a corner though, they are a good side with good players.
“A win tonight would be massive for both sides so I expect a full-blooded game.”
Celtic sit four points behind Rangers ahead of tonight’s game.
Dundee United and Hearts are the two sides sat between the Old Firm rivals.
